Message from the Faithful Navigator

Thank you for visiting our website!
We are building a website that can be used as not only a resource for members and those who would like to become a member, but also anyone that shares in our faith.

If you are new to us, please feel free to browse around and learn more about Father Joseph C. Tomko Assembly and the Knights of Columbus. Check out the "Special Interest" page for links to find out more about our founder, Father Michael J. McGivney. Anyone that is a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus and has been a Knight for more than one year is invited to join us! We take it as our responsibility to reach out to all such parishioners. If you are not a member of one of our member parishes, click on the "National" tab above to find a council near you.

Message of November 27, 2008:

Now is the time for all good Sir Knights...

Good day to you and thanks for your attention!

As I now near the end of my fourth month as Navigator, I wanted to take stock of where we are. I have accomplished some of my objectives, but still have a long way to go.

Our Assembly is still scattered but not divided. We have not made it to the level of participation to strengthen the order but we have been able to move in the right direction with communication. Thank you all who have given me information and feedback. Thanks for the email addresses.

I'm now moving to a next phase of the year - I would like to make at least one council meeting of every one of our member councils starting this next month, and moving into February. I'll be doing what I can to pump up the participation and communication so that you know what's going on and so do we.

Thanks for all you do. Let's make this a great year for Father Tomko!

Fraternally yours in Christ,
SK. Michael Covais,
Faithful Navigator, Tomko Assembly
